Google Maps seems to be going the ‘Apple way’ with these changes

Google is testing a new colour palette for its Maps service. The updated colour palette will apply only to the background map layer. These colour combinations are similar to the ones that Apple uses in its own Maps service. Apart from this, Google has also integrated YouTube Music into Maps. The app will also allow users to choose among available music streaming platforms like Spotify, Amazon Music and more

Google has already started rolling out both updated colours and music integration on Maps for some users. However, these new colours are not widely available yet. We at TOI-GadgetsNow also checked multiple Android devices to find that the latest additions are available only on Pixel devices.
