Google Maps is making it easier for us to spot public events, here’s how

Google’s Maps is one of the most used apps around the globe. While most of the data we see in Google Maps is based on user reviews and feedback, the search giant is giving users another way to contribute to the app — adding public events. The feature, for now, seems to be in the testing phase as it is not visible for all. The feature has been spotted by Slashgear website.
Although ‘Public Events’ seem to be in testing stages, Google has already detailed it in one of its Google Maps support pages, indicating that the feature could soon be reaching end users. However, there is also a note clearly stating that it might not be available in some regions.
