Google makes it easy to identify which accessories will work with Chromebooks

In order to make it easy for people to identify the accessories that will work Chromebooks or not, Google has introduced a new badge called “Works with Chromebook”. This badge certifies accessories that are compatible with Chromebooks. This badge is meant for chargers, keyboards, mice, adapters and more.
“You’ll begin to see the Works With Chromebook badge on certified accessories in the U.S., Canada and Japan. We’ve tested these accessories to ensure they comply with Chromebook’s compatibility standards. Once you see the badge, you can be sure the product works seamlessly with your Chromebook,” said Google in an official blog post.
The ‘Works With Chromebook’ badge will be provided to accessories from brands like AbleNet, Anker, Belkin, Brydge, Cable Matters, Elecom, Hyper, Kensington, Logitech, Plugable, Satechi, StarTech, and Targus. These devices will be sold online on Amazon, Best Buy (U.S. and Canada), Walmart.com, and Bic Camera (Japan). Google will roll out this certification badge to other countries as well.
