Google Lens may soon get new Circle to Search like features

Earlier this year, Google introduced a new feature called “Circle to Search” that allows users to search for anything they see on their phone’s screen without switching applications. However, it is currently limited to the Google Pixel 8 and Samsung Galaxy S24 series. And while Google Lens offers similar functionalities on older phones, a new report by Android Authority suggests that the app might soon get two new features that make it more useful.

During the APK teardown of the Google app v15.18.30.29 beta, it was noted that the Google Lens might soon let users select videos and search for content in a specific video.
