Google launches Android 14 Developer Preview with better support for foldables

Google has announced Android 14’s first Developer Preview for Pixel smartphones. While the company does not list details of the user-side changes, it does mention a better support for foldables, tablets and other large-screen devices.

“Android 14 continues our work to improve your productivity as developers, along with enhancements to performance, privacy, security, and user customization. This preview is just the beginning, and we’ll have lots more to share as we move through the release cycle,” Dave Burke, vice president of engineering at Google, said in a blog post.
