Google launched new products this week but took away a couple of recent ones

Google launched a bunch of devices at its recent ‘Made by Google’ event in the US. These included the two new Pixel phones, a laptop and some Nest-branded Wi-Fi devices, speakers and the first-ever Pixel-branded earbuds. However, the firm is often known for killing its products from time to time, be an app, service or a hardware product. So while the firm introduced a total of six hardware products this week, it also killed three of the recent ones. We are talking about the Google Daydream View platform and Google Clips.
Google Daydream View
Google DayDream View was introduced by the search giant three years ago (2016). It was the company’s first attempt at bringing virtual reality to the masses. The eye gear looked similar to that launched by Facebook’s Oculus and Samsung’s Gear VR but was not as high-tech and required a smartphone to work.
