Google kills the Trips app, suggests to use this app instead

Google has closed several of its apps and services in the past couple of years. Joining that list is yet another app that was used by people to plan trips. The company has shuttered its Trips travel app. The news came from the app’s support page wherein it has been stated that the app support ended on August 5, 2019, and users won’t be able to access it. However, they will still be able to access and email trip reservations and notes.
“Support for the Google Trips app will end on August 5, 2019. At this time, you’ll no longer be able to use the app. Until then, you’ll still be able to access and email all of your trip reservations and notes as normal,” added the website.
The reason for shutting down the Trips app is that most of the features have already been moved to the Google Maps app.
