Google India appoints Sanjay Gupta as its new country manager and VP- Sales

NEW DELHI: Google India said that it has appointed Sanjay Gupta as its new country manager and vice president of sales and operations. In his role, he will be working towards driving Google’s ongoing efforts to expand the internet ecosystem in the country and upscaling internet adoption among consumers and businesses, the company said in a statement.

Prior to Google, he was the managing director at Walt Disney owned Star India where he has been credited for extending their traditional television content to digital consumers through Hotstar.
