Google has these three suggestions for governments worldwide on ‘AI regulations’

This year’s Google I/O was all focused on AI, and the company spoke about how the growth of AI is a significant technology shift. The current developments in AI models are not just limited to discovering new places, finding the right words, or engaging with information, said the company.

But with these advancements come scrutiny from governments worldwide. While governments across the globe are talking about the ground rules for AI, Italy was one of the first countries to ban the ChatGPT over privacy concerns, and now the country’s government is seeking to regulate the use of AI in the country.

Google has released a white paper with policy recommendations for AI that seemingly aims to help in policy making.
