Google has accused Microsoft of following ‘unfair’ practices
The cloud computing business is a rather competitive one with heavyweights like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Oracle vying for the top spot. Google, it seems, is rather unhappy with two of its big rivals. According to a report by CNBC, Google has written a letter of complaint to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
Microsoft uses unfair terms
Google has alleged that in order to lock in clients, Microsoft has used unfair licensing terms to gain more control in the cloud computing market. Google argued in the letter that Microsoft’s Office products and Windows Server make it extremely difficult for clients to use Azure cloud only.
