Google camera app reveals the purpose of Pixel 4’s second lens

Sometime back Google took everyone by surprise as it teased it’s Google Pixel 4 smartphone months before the official announcement. The teaser gave away one of the biggest features of the handset – dual rear camera setup. Until now, the Pixel smartphones came with a single rear lens. But at the time of revealing the teaser, the search giant did not reveal any other detail about the smartphone and what the second camera was for. However, XDA Developers website seems to have found some hints hidden inside the latest Google Camera app.
The string of codes found in the Google Camera app 6.3 are said to have spilled the beans on what exactly will the second camera do in the upcoming Pixel 4 smartphone. The app was found in the fifth beta version of Android Q, which is not available for all yet but some users have reportedly received it.
