Google brings Lens into its Translate app on Android and iOS
Google Lens and Google Translate are two extremely useful tools that the company offers to its users. Google is replacing the camera mode on the Translate app with Google Lens, according to a report by 9to5Google.
The report says that on Android phones, this will be a “system-level capability” whereas the iOS app has built-in lens. The change has already been rolled out to users. We did check it on the iOS app for Google Translate and can confirm that Google Lens does indeed show up in the camera mode of the Translate app. The idea seems to make the translation better as prior to the change, users had no option but to use the simple translate feature. Google Lens brings other features.
