Google adds Apple’s haptic feedback feature to its keyboard app

Apple iPhone and iPad users surely need to thank Google for one thing — keeping its apps updated on iOS. The search giant has now updated its most-used keyboard app – Gboard. The update includes support for one of the features that is essential in iPhones ever since 2016 – Haptic feedback.
Haptic feedback was already there in the iOS keyboard but it has now been integrated by Google in its Gboard app. This new feature comes as a part of Gboard version 1.40. The changelog in the iOS app store also mentions “Feel your keys! You can now enable haptic feedback on key press by going to settings.” The update also brings language support for Lao and Mongolian.
