Good News India to complete 200 episodes

New Delhi: Good News India, a programme that promotes and projects good initiatives being done by individuals for the betterment of community, is set to complete 200 episodes on Doordarshan News soon. The programme, which has been aired on the national broadcaster for the past four years, has also led to bestowing of recognition and awards to several special individuals who had taken part in public welfare initiatives and made a difference in the society.

After airing of some Good News India episodes on DD News, the government is also understood to have awarded the exemplary work being done by the people showcased in it.

“There are many people who work tirelessly for the betterment of people around them but remain unnoticed. We look for them around the country, research on them and then bring them to light so that their efforts could inspire others to achieve their goals.
