Gmail and G suite faces outage, users take to social media to complain

Gmail and Google Suite users in India suffered an outage for over an hour on Wednesday evening, which the company acknowledged and said it was working to resolve the issue.

“Thanks for reporting. We are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. Appreciate your patience,” Google’s email service responded to concerned users on its Twitter handle. The gmail app on mobile phones did not face issue.

On Twitter, #Gmail was trending with users posting memes and jokes to express their confusion over the sudden outage.
