GK Reddy launches e-Cyber Lab

Minister of State Home, G Kishan Reddy on Tuesday launched e-Cyber Lab set up by National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) which enables usage of cyber labs virtually.

Reddy said the month of October is observed as National Cyber Security Awareness Month and eCyber Lab will provide virtual experience in investigation of cyber crimes. Minister also inaugurated the 21st All India Conference of Directors of Fingerprint Bureau.

Reddy said that although law and order is a state subject, the Union Government has an important role in monitoring and tracking crime, in modernization of police forces, and in capacity building and in extending assistance to State governments in improving policing.
