GiveIndia, Path get $15-million Google grant for Covid-19 relief efforts

Bengaluru: Google.org is broadening its support to India to include oxygen supplies and skilling of health workers, amid the ongoing Covid-19 crisis in the country.

The philanthropic arm of the world’s largest search engine has announced a new $15 million grant to online donation platform GiveIndia and non-profit Path to support the procurement and installation of around 80 oxygen generation plants at healthcare facilities in high-need and rural locations.
