G’gram gets ‘movement pass’ via GMDA mobile app

Amid lockdown across the district the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has developed a mobile phone app named “Movement Pass” so that the residents of the city can obtain official permission to step out of their homes for essential supplies.

For this, the residents can approach GMDA’s Mobile app where the Movement pass can be applied through online process and with requisite documents and reason and after approval, the Movement Pass will be issued electronically with a QR code.

Also, the copy of the issued pass will be sent to the applicant’s mobile as well as email ID.

According to a data provided by the development authority, till date, nearly 20,604 requests for Movement Pass were received and 6,953 are issued after scrutiny of documents submitted and reasons indicated by the applicants.
