Genpact’s AI Guru gives sage advice to staff

Genpact has over 100,000 employees on their payroll, with tens of thousands of them needing training and advice at any time. To manage the task more effectively, the global professional services firm in 2019 rolled out Genome – an online learning platform that harnessed the collective knowledge housed within the company. Very soon it became clear that the company had created an indispensable learning platform that could coach and reskill employees on everything from accounting to hard data science problems.

Genome was designed around the idea that sharing knowledge brings tangible benefits, which is why the platform uses discussion forums extensively so that employees within the company could learn not only from each other but also from the gurus – usually someone with over 20 years of experience in the company.
