Genesys International collaborates with Survey of India to digitally develop India’s mapping landscape

Genesys International, a mapping company, and Survey of India (SOI), a national surveying and mapping authority, have joined forces to develop India’s map content.

According to an official release, this partnership aims to create Digital Twins of major cities and towns, leveraging Genesys’ navigable maps, the Genesys constellation of sensors and SOI’s CORS network which allows for real-time positioning of data. From what it’s understood, the collaboration has introduced the India Map Stack initiative, synergising Genesys’ expertise with SOI’s technical infrastructure, delivering data layers such as 3D data,
