Generative AI, flexible batteries, metaverse among top emerging tech for 2023: WEF

NEW DELHI: Generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI), sustainable computing, flexible batteries, metaverse for mental health, and more, are expected to be the top emerging technologies for 2023, according to a report released by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in association with Frontiers Media.

“New technologies have the power to disrupt industries, grow economies, improve lives and safeguard the planet – if designed, scaled and deployed responsibly,” said Jeremy Jurgens, Managing Director, World Economic Forum, in the report.
