Future Apple watches may match the watch face to your band, clothes

A lot of people may coordinate the watch face of their Apple Watch with the colour of the band or even the colour of their clothes. If a patent is anything to go by, Apple may automate this process in future. According to a report by Apple Insider, Apple has been granted a patent titled “Electronic Devices With Color Sampling Sensors.”

How will the colour coordination work

As per the patent documents, Apple Watch may come with a light sensor that could measure the colour of external objects. “During colour sampling operations, the display may emit light towards the external object in front of the display while the light sensor gathers colour measurements,” explains the patent filing.
