Free app for iOS that lets users record audio & type notes alongside

The default Notes app on iPhone is great but it is a little bare-bones. Noted is a free app that lets you record audio and type notes alongside. You can pause and resume audio recordings mid-way if you get interrupted. While recording, you can add a hashtag for a particular moment in the recording for reference – this allows you to jump back to that moment when listening. You can search all notes for a particular hashtag from the main screen.

When you’re playing back your recordings, you can change playback speed from 0.25x up to 2x – can be quite handy while transcribing. We liked the clean interface and all the extras (customise colour/style, highlight text, add pictures and doodle).
