Focus on markets beyond G7 has helped Zoho weather storm: Sridhar Vembu

Technology company Zoho Corporation’s focus on markets other than the G7, including India, has helped it tide over the challenges the SaaS sector is currently facing, its cofounder, Sridhar Vembu, said at a press briefing on Monday.

“This is unusual for us as a company because if you take any public SaaS company and look at where their revenue is coming from, G7 would be strongly represented,” Vembu, who is also the chief executive, said at Tenkasi. “And this was an early focus for us (concentrating beyond G7 nations) and that’s paying off now.”
