Flipkart Rejig: Adarsh Menon to take over Shopsy, Cleartrip, used phone business

Flipkart senior executive Adarsh Menon will take over the company’s new business verticals including social commerce venture Shopsy, travel platform Cleartrip and re-commerce business, according to an internal memo by Flipkart Group CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy and people briefed on the matter.

The role rejig comes after Prakash Sikaria finalised plans to leave the Walmart-owned entity later this year to potentially start his own venture.

Menon will also take over from Flipkart’s engagement and loyalty programme function, which includes Supercoins, from Sikaria.
