Trai has come out with a consultation paper on ‘Regulatory Framework for Over the Top (OTT) Communication Services’. Trai has clarified that while preparing this consultation paper, it has taken the information collected in the previous consultations. Also, the current consultation is not intended to revisit the following regulations or recommendations given by it earlier on OTT, which had broader implications and were therefore concluded first:
