Firstsource Solutions post 51% jump in Q1 PAT

Kolkata: Firstsource Solutions, a global provider of Business Process Management (BPM) services and an RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group company, has reported a 51% jump in profit after tax (PAT) in the first quarter of this fiscal, one of the highest in the industry. The PAT was Rs 134 crore from Rs 89 crore in the same period last fiscal.

The company’s revenue for the quarter was also up by 42% to Rs 1,482 crore from Rs 1,062 crore during the quarter. Sources said that there could be a jump of 18% in revenue for the current year. The market cap of the has also doubled in the last three months.
