Firework looks to build a war chest to compete with TikTok, YouTube in India

BENGALURU: Firework, a social video app that competes with TikTok, is looking raise $20 million in India, as it gets ready to battle it out in the fiercely competitive domestic market.
Firework will use the funds to acquire users, curate content and develop creators. The California-based company is focused on what it calls premium user-generated content. It features a mix of professional and upcoming creators.
