Financial credit a challenge for almost half of women entrepreneurs in MSMEs: report

Nearly half or 47% of women entrepreneurs in India’s micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) face significant challenges in accessing financial credit, a new report has revealed.
Around 95% of the women surveyed lacked awareness of government financial schemes or programmes that could aid their businesses, leading them to seek credit through informal channels, according to the ‘Bharat Women Aspiration Index Report’ by banking application for businesses Tide India.
