Files by Google app gets updated with a new look and improved playback features

Back in 2017, Google introduced its Files app for Android smartphones that have low storage space. The app is designed to make it easier for users to access different types of files from one place and keep phone storage clean. Now, the app has received a major update in terms of looks and an updated feature as well. As mentioned by Tomas Vorel, growth manager, Next Billion Users, Google in a blog post, these two features are supposed to make Files app more helpful than before.
The company is finally giving Files app the ‘Dark Mode’ treatment. Dark Mode was introduced by Google in Android Q during the IO 2019 conference earlier this year. The final OS version with this feature is yet to reach end-users. Dark Mode in Files app makes it easier to look at in low light situations. In addition to this, the particular mode will also impact the battery life of the smartphone in a good way.
