Fake call centre cheating foreigners busted

The police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a fake call centre in Udyog Vihar who used to cheat foreign nationals on the pretext of technical help and took several dollars as service charge.

Four persons were arrested and an FIR was filed against them under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) including IT Act at the Cyber Crime police station.

A team of cybercrime unit raided the call centre located in Phase 6, Sector-37 after a tip-off. The police have seized 15 hard-disks, one laptop, i-tunes and google cards from them.

The arrested accused have been identified as Yogesh Bablani, Milan Sagar, Jai Jethani of Gujarat and Jitender who hails from New Delhi, all were living in Gurugram.
