Fake BPO busted, FBI praises DGP’s efforts

Appreciating efforts by State Cyber Cell in busting a fake call center operated in Indore targeting US citizens, the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) team of the United States presented plaque of citation to DGP VK Singh at the State Police Headquarters on Wednesday.

The fake call center operated from Indore was found operating and targeted US citizens. The fraudsters were involved in duping US citizens and would extort money in the name of security issues using their social security numbers.

The FBI team reached the police headquarters to express their gratitude towards Madhya Pradesh Police and were pleased with their efforts which helped in busting the network of fraudsters.
