Facebook under scanner for allowing dog fighting content on platform

Facebook has come under the scanner for allegedly allowing content related to dog fighting on its platform. Dog fighting is illegal in a number of nations around the world.

Animal rights organisation, Lady Freethinker, conducted an investigation and found that dog fighters are promoting their trade on Facebook through posts that may include dogs mauling each other, chained up in factory-like training facilities, or displaying the scars of fighting.
