Facebook to now tell you why you see a particular post in your News Feed

Social networking giant Facebook has rolled out a new feature called “Why am I seeing this post?” to its News Feed, which Facebook claims is the first time that they have built information on how ranking works directly into the app.
You will be able to find this option in the drop down menu in the right hand corner of a post. Facebook has given three broad parameters on which it will include certain posts in their Feed:
(a) how often you interact with posts from people, Pages or Groups
(b) how often you interact with a specific type of post, for example, videos, photos or links
(c) the popularity of the posts shared by the people, Pages and Groups you follow.
