Facebook rolls out dark mode for Messenger: Here’s how you can activate it

Social networking giant Facebook has rolled out the dark mode for its Messenger app for some of its users, the company announced in a blog post. “After a month-long Easter Egg activation with countless crescent moon emojis, we are excited to announce that everyone around the world will be able to activate dark mode in Messenger with a simple toggle switch from settings. The toggle is rolling out globally today,” said Facebook. In order to activate it, follow these steps:
* Open Facebook Messenger app
* Go to Settings
* Toggle on dark mode
Facebook claims that Messenger’s dark mode “provides lower brightness while maintaining contrast and vibrancy.”
