Facebook parent Meta rolls out AI chatbot for employees: All details

Facebook parent Meta recently gave a sneak peek at its ‘incredible breakthroughs’ in artificial intelligence (AI) and announced a productivity assistant for employees. Called Metamate, the AI chatbot has been trained on the company’s internal data. According to a report, Meta is releasing it for use within the company.

Meta employees’ ‘Mate’

As per a report by The Verge, Metamate is deployed to answer employees’ queries and perform other tasks. The AI chatbot will utilise the company data to help employees summarise meetings, write code and debug features.

Employees will also be able to create their own prompts and share them with colleagues. The publication also claimed that the company is starting to roll it out to a small group now.
