Facebook in negotiations to acquire multi billion dollar stake in Reliance Jio: Report

New Delhi: Social networking major Facebook is reportedly in talks to acquire a stake in Mukesh Ambani’s 4G only telecom operator, Reliance Jio Infocomm.

The Financial Times, citing two people with knowledge of the matter, reported that Facebook was close to an initial agreement to pick up a 10% stake but discussions hadn’t moved forward on account of the global disruption following the coronavirus outbreak.
