Facebook has launched a new feature called Login Notifications: This is what it means for users

Facebook has launched a new feature that will notify users which information they are sharing when they login to third-party apps through Facebook. The feature, called Login Notifications will alert Facebook users via notifications when they grant any app access to their information by a simple login.
“The design and content of the Login Notifications remind users that they have full control over the information they share with 3rd party apps, with a clear path to edit those settings,” said Facebook developer blog post.
These notifications get triggered in two cases as per Facebook. First, when a user logs into a third-party app with Facebook login and give that app access to information. Second, when the user logs in again when the app’s access to information has expired.
In the same blog post, Facebook also said that the company will be rolling out more user control features in early 2020, including bringing permissions to the forefront.
