Facebook adds ‘Gaming’ to main navigation, challenges YouTube and Twitch

Facebook just upped its game. Challenging Amazon’s Twitch, the social media giant started rolling out a Facebook Gaming tab in the main navigation of its app from March 14, TechCrunch reported.

Facebook’s efforts in the field of gaming and challenge to Twitch is focussed on helping users easily find more games, gaming groups and streamers they want to follow, besides discovering new content as per their interests.

After tapping on the new Gaming tab, one sees instant games one can play with their friends; videos from top streamers, esports organizations, game publishers and updates from various gaming groups, as per reports.
