AI-based tools like ChatGPT, Bard, Bing AI, etc are gaining popularity these days. People have already started using these services and other AI-based features in their daily lives and improve productivity. Scammers and cybercriminals too have an AI-based tool called FraudGPT. This tool is used by cybercriminals to craft fraudulent content for cyber frauds and crimes. CERT-In, the government website that keeps track of bugs, and issues in software and platforms, and warns about common scams, viruses and other things related to the safety and security of users and their data, has warned users against the FraudGPT scams. The government has listed all the things that scammers can generate using this tool and a couple of tips to help users stay safe from these scams.
