Experts: IoT can be used for effective governance

Lucknow: It is the need of the hour to use the Internet of Things (IoT) for effective governance be it for the successful implementation of government schemes, saving resources like power in government offices, curbing frauds and others, said experts during an international conference ‘DigiGov 2023’ organised by Computer Society of India on Saturday.

“The way the development is taking place, very soon it will become the Internet of Everything i.e. IOET. Using IoT, we can reach more than 60 lakh gram panchayats and provide facilities to the remotely placed citizens of India,” said advisor of Indian Institute of Business Management prof AK Nayak.
