Expedia’s Aman Bhutani to join GoDaddy as CEO

GoDaddy has appointed Aman Bhutani as the company’s new global CEO. Bhutani who was President of Brand Expedia Group takes over from Scott Wagner who is stepping down for health reasons.

A BA in Economics graduate from Delhi University, Bhutani will take over from September 4th, 2019 joining the ranks of an increasing tribe of Indians who at the leading multinational firms.

Wagner, GoDaddy’s current CEO said that he and the Board worked to identify a tremendous successor, and lay the groundwork for a smooth transition. “Aman is a proven, extraordinary leader with a strong track record at Expedia for delivering operational excellence in a complex, global business. His extensive knowledge and experience in product and engineering teams, and his belief in culture and leadership as differentiators will serve GoDaddy well,” said Chuck Robel, Chair of the GoDaddy Board of Directors.
