Excitel eyes 4 lakh broadband users by March 2020; aims to connect 50 mn homes via FTTH

New Delhi: Broadband service provider Excitel Broadband on Friday said that it is targeting 4,00,000 subscribers by March 2020 across the country, having achieved 3,00,000 subscribers already.

Excitel said that it’s broad vision is to connect 50 million urban and semi-urban homes of India to the Internet on pure gigabit fiber (FTTH).

The broadband service provider has presence in 10 cities, including Bangalore, Lucknow, Jaipur and Kanpur.

“By transforming tens of thousands local TV cable operators into fiber infrastructure providers, Excitel creates sustainable small businesses and opens jobs for even uneducated people,” said Vivek Raina, founder & CEO, Excitel Broadband.
