Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) and Council negotiators have reached a provisional agreement on the Artificial Intelligence Act to ensure AI in Europe is safe, environmentally sustainable, respects fundamental rights and democracy, while boosting innovation and making Europe a leader in the field.
