EU officials to introduce a deal on AI regulation

According to Cointelegraph, on December 8, 2023, the European Parliament and Council negotiators agreed on the rules governing artificial intelligence (AI) use.

The agreement is expected to cover the governmental use of AI in biometric surveillance, how to regulate AI systems such as ChatGPT, and the transparency rules to follow before market entry.
