#ETDigitalTelcoSummit: TRAI working with Central ministries to develop 5G use cases: Chairman PD Vaghela

NEW DELHI: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is working with several central ministries to develop use cases for the fifth-generation or 5G technology, said its Chairman PD Vaghela Friday.

“We are working with the ministry of education, ministry of health, ministry of MSME, and the ministry of agriculture for the development of use cases. The ministries will bring in specific domain knowledge while TRAI will enable coordination between telecom companies, telecom experts, and resolving regulatory issues,” Vaghela said.
