ESC Report: Impressive 12.21% growth propels IT/ITeS/BPO sector to $193 billion in 2022-23

The Information Technology (IT), Information Technology Enabled Services (ITeS), and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector demonstrated robust growth, registering a remarkable 12.21% upswing during the fiscal year 2022-23, as indicated by the Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC).

Notably, the export of Computer Software/Services, encompassing ITES/BPO, saw a substantial increase, reaching an estimated $193 billion. This marks a noteworthy progression from the $172 billion reported in the previous fiscal year.
