Ericsson plans 18-month global leadership training for people managers

New Delhi: Swedish telecom equipment maker Ericsson is launching a global leadership training programme for its 7,500 managers across the world to equip them to face new challenges in a fastchanging world and take “courageous” decisions, a top official said.

The programme, ‘Ericsson on the Move’, is aimed at properly conveying Ericsson’s “baseline leadership credos” such as being empathetic to all managers, said Priyanka Anand, head (people function), Southeast Asia, Oceania & India at Ericsson. The 18-month programme will start in September.
