Ericsson, Microsoft, Thales, telcos team up to enable 5G Windows 11 computers in enterprises

NEW DELHI: Swedish telecom gear maker Ericsson along with Microsoft and Thales collaborated with telecom majors SoftBank, T-Mobile, and Telia Sweden to enable 5G Windows 11 computers with features such as zero-touch provisioning and automated eSIM profile switching and managements.

Ericsson said its Ericsson Virtual Cellular Network (EVCN) solutions automates eSIM profile management and allow an enterprise to control of the ordering, downloading and activation of multiple eSIM profiles on 5G Windows 11 personal computers.
