Ericsson forms team to drive 6G R&D in India

NEW DELHI: Swedish telecom gear maker Ericsson has formed a 6G research team in its Chennai Research & Development Center to support India’s ambitions for the sixth-generation network technology.

“This ‘India 6G’ team comprises of senior research leaders and a team of experienced researchers across Radio, Networks, AI and Cloud, who have been entrusted with developing fundamental solutions for the future of telecommunications,” Ericsson said in a statement Saturday.
